Why |
As part of our first Birthday celebrations, Sourc’d is hosting an educational workshop on understanding wine flavours and how to match certain dishes with a wine partner. After all food and wine have dates just like people.

We explore similar and contrasting flavours. Get down and intimate with texture, mouth feel, and what actually activates the sensory areas of your palate. And the most important aspect, how simply eating food with wine, changes the character of both. We’ll also answer the important question of whether Umami is a Japanese Supermodel, or something entirely different.

We will partner an array of bite size morsels, with their prospective dates, consisting of a line-up of local wines and specialty drinks, each designed to highlight and complement the flavours of the other.

There will be seven courses, and seven matching beverages, which will equate to more than three standard drinks, so transport to and from the event will need to be considered. Chaperones are optional as everyone attending must be over eighteen years of age. All wines will be available for sale to either enjoy on the night, or to take home and meet the family. Takeaway discount applies.

So, swipe left, or right, on the night, and decide which flavours work best for you.
